Chocolate Banana Smoothie


    1 ripe, frozen banana - peeled

    1 scoop milk chocolate protein powder - I use Slim Fast

    1/4 tsp. Folger's instant coffee

    1 cup ice


Recipe makes 1 serving

Combine ingredients in a high-powered blending machine. We really like the Vita-Mix. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into 2 glasses and serve immediately.

    Bananas are rich in potassium. Each packs about 450 mg. of this mineral.

    Recent studies have shown that the correct balance of potassium and sodium in the body is vital to healthy blood pressure levels.
